I am fearful that a ground invasion is being geared up for, maybe not for the full country, but at least the islands in the gulf/strait.

The fact that there has been 8 days of hammering regions that could oppose an invasion of the islands seems to imply there is more in the works than just bombing the shore area.

trump and hegseth probably believe that they can achieve 'victory' solely by chucking bombs and missiles at Iran without setting foot there. They may be right, but past precedent on their assumptions doesn't bode well.

Now more than ever Iran wants to build the bomb and use it on the USA and hey, who can blame them?
