I found her books unreadable, and Potter movies ridiculous. Way too much CGI and poor acting. That's what happens when you're talking to a green screen half the time. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

People of course can't change their biological sex, but they can use hormones/surgery to mimic the opposite sex. And thus making it easier for them to feel comfortable in their own bodies. As a conservative, I assume you support individuals making decisions about their own bodies without the government interfering? I am against transgender women competing in sports (college/professional) against biological women. Unless a biological male would be allowed to compete as well. |

I may not be as old as EB, but I sure don't understand any attraction to the little I know about the Harry Potter series. Never read them or saw them but have absolutely no interest. I can't judge whether it is good or not, but I abhore almost all fiction and I think the HP series is fiction. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent. |

I read the 1st book after some churches came out against the book. I enjoyed it. Fun fiction. Whenever somebody wants to ban a book, it goes to the top of my reading list Sometimes we live no particular way but our own - Grateful Dead "Eyes of the World" |
