The Indians didn't have big settlements in the San Francisco area because they knew the ground shook there sometimes. Like it did 100 years ago and will again. If you take a risk, you may lose. This 10000000000% I have absolutely ZERO sympathy for anyone living in these areas. They know the inherent danger but yet accept to ignore it. Then when the inevitable happens, they want to come crying for help. GET LOST!! They get what they deserve. |

I know a guy who lives in the area, as soon as it hit he got in his car and drove 1100 miles to Ohio to stay with relatives. I've asked him before why he lives there and he has intelligent answers like 'I dunno. Too lazy to move' He even keeps the plywood to nail over the windows right in his living room at all times so neighbors won't steal it. Stupid is as stupid does. If you take a risk, you may lose.
