Well said. Exactly my experience here, specifically with AZD. Being NOT "the left" as generalized here, AND not agreeing with most of what AZD and EB say still represents a large swath of this country, I daresay a good-sized majority. The fact that it is non-specific, too general and all-encompassing, and therefore inaccurate. That's all really. If instead of "The Left" you guys used words like "some" or "wacko leftists" or "extremists from the left" or "rabbid obama supporters" or something, or even "most from the left" assuming you had some statistic to back it up rather than just your gut feeling, "common sense" or in other words your opinion. "some from the left" will almost always be accurate even without documentation to back it up. that is why I consistently, as far as I know with the exception of my "generally speaking" post, say things like "some" or "most" and back those up with facts demonstrating and quantifying "some" or "most" etc. "Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but not to his own facts." and FusionGPS claims that the FBI stated that they already knew independently some of the information provided to them via "the dossier" one thing about that dossier - first the conservatives hired fusion gps to prevent trump from getting the nomination, then the dems did to continue the research to prevent him from becoming president, of course, and now it seems like the information was given (without permission of fusion gps superiors) to the FBI. Based on your posts over the years, I do not believe it. Maybe to get into the local country club, but Republicans do not defend Bill Clinton's proven sexual harassment then go ape over Trump's alleged behavior. Just one of many, many examples. Did you vote for Dole? Bush? McCain? Romney? Trump?
Each his own. I do not feel the need to do this as my take is people understand a general comment and read things in context. IOW, I am posting on a forum, not writing a term paper. He had an immigration meeting with all the bigwigs in congress, and he invited the press and the world into the room! OMG! Did Obama EVER do this? Are you kidding? This way it can't be reported that all Trump did was drool and stare out the window and mutter to himself in dementia while powering down Diet Cokes. The press and the world saw a president completely in control of the meeting and the room, who never missed a beat. Trump says to the Dems, "Tell me what you want, lay it out for me", right in front of the press. And the Dems were crapping their pants. It was genius, pure genius. Nobody can make up lies when you're this transparent with what you're doing. The Dems and the press are stunned, they just got outfoxed and it hasn't even dawned on them yet. LOL! I'm sure he's wrong. The Opie is coming on to fulfill every dream. I'm sure there are no skeletons in her closet that can haunt her. One thing The Opie has never faced is, much real opposition in the media. The Right Wing press will tear her up. If you think she bawled like a new born baby on her show, wait till she gets a taste of political life in the spotlight. If you take a risk, you may lose.
