Twenty years apart, mind. One has recanted on his views in 50's, the other hasn't. That said, the old southern democrats are still around in places. Duke himself ran in Democratic primaries in the 70's.
First time I came across David Duke was as a insult on gambler's glen against one of the old anti-semites on there (Frank, I believe). I wish I hadn't... It is said that your life flashes before your eyes just before you die.... it's called Life |

Jacob Schiff & Genrikh Yagoda According to Wikipeida Yagoda was born in Rybinsk into a Jewish family and he may have been responsible for the deaths of 10 million people. In that sense David Duke is correct. However, there is no indication that he was acting as a Jewish believer, but only as a crony of Stalin. |
