Yeah, that's a consideration in the black population where 70% of the births are out of wedlock. I've said for years that birth should be licensed, you have to apply to have kids and if you can't afford it, tough luck. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

I'd be curious to hear the details of your licensing plan. Would the government prosecute unlicensed casual sex? (We'd need to build more courtrooms, hire more judges. A whole new market segment for attorneys.) What are the penalties for pregnancy without license? Would the male & female receive equal punishment, or would the female face greater sanctions? I say lock 'em up & through away the key. The kid, too. |

With brilliant management like that I would think Penny's would want in on it. It just seemed strangely coincidental they would close for just a day on Pearl Harbor day, I should have realized, [slaps forehead] like someone actually remembered when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor. The last official act of any government is to loot the treasury. GW |

Dunno, they made it work in China. We have to do something. If you lived in a primitive village and your whole family lived off the rest of the village, you wouldn't last long. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |
