ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) — Michigan coach Juwan Howard suspended for the rest of the regular season for role in postgame melee versus Wisconsin

I think he should have been suspended for the rest of the 2021/2022 campaign. He should not be coaching in the tournaments.

He should have been fired

I agree and he still might be. I am not surprised that they didn't fire him. he has been a boon for the program and let's facie it, that is all that matters.

That was probably the best 1st round March madness games in my life
What a day for a sports fan
St Peter's vs Kentucky was outstanding
CBS has to be giddy having 2 overtime games on the big network. Quite a few close games.
Thank goodness because games not on CBS, I have to watch on my phone
Hopefully today is as good as yesterday

Maryland is a number 2 seed
Really excited for my Terps
I'll be watching as they open the tournament against Holy Cross tomorrow
There's also a Mens tournament as well :-)

I root for all the dark uniforms
Higher seed has to wear white or lighter color
Rooting against Alabama whos star player delivered a gun to another player for a murder
Maryland will play Alabama in the 2nd round if both win their 1st games
Go Terps
Go Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Islanders

I have Maryland (mild upset) over W Va in a bunch of brackets/bets.

I have to root for Xavier as friends son is Associate Head Coach. I think that means he’s second right after the head coach.
Other friend’s son is assistant at Florida. They got unceremoniously bounced from NIT yesterday.
Another friends son was a basketball assistant at Stanford, and is now the assistant AD there. Bad year for Stanford.
4th is head coach at small school SUNY Maritime.

I’m going at noon for an annual get together. We commandeer a room at Tully’s (bar/restaurant) with around 4 tables of 6 that has 4 large screen TV’s. So can watch 4 games simultaneously. From noon to midnight Thursday and Friday. I’ll stay until 4 ish but have a wake to go to. Probably return tomorrow for the evening/night games.

A few stay for all 24 hours. One guy drinks exactly one mixed drink an hour. Says it’s perfect for his metabolism as he’s always happy but never drunk.

Years ago a few of the fathers would let their kids miss two afternoons of school to join us. Those 4 kids are the coaches I talked about. I think the dad of the Xavier coach will be going to the game so we’ll be down one!

My Longhorns enter the tournament in the best shape in years as a 2 seed and an AP ranking of 5. But I’m worried about the first round. Colgate probably should have been seeded better and their lineup is a matchup problem for Texas. Upset potential is high.
The mind hungers for that on which it feeds.
