Rats! Vexed by FrG again. It would seem that Pope Francis said "Jesus" 11 times in his homily today.

That's all? I thought it would be 111. Don't
you get a prize in heaven or something
for saying Jesus name if you're Catholic?
Wait, that's only if you're crossing yourself
and eating a wafer at the same time. The
magical stuff is confusing.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

You should have taken the over 7 while you had the chance.

I wonder why this was such a peaceful visit.

No riots, no protests, no media harping on abuse or wealth. No accsations of wrong doing, no incessant playing of the Vaican Rag.

Maybe the news about the stampeding deaths in Saudi Arabia made them look better by comparison.

Here is a nice article with details of the "popemobile", including an explanation of the letters on the license plate

I hope the Old Country Buffet on Route 40 will do.

Can we pick a place closer to Towson?

By the way I was distracted at the beginning of the Pope's homily in Philly and so I only caught the second half. Since my Spanish is not very good and I had already lost the context I just decided to count the times he said Jesus. I know I felt bad at the Mass worrying more about the number of times he said Jesus than the message but that's okay. Anyway, I thought for sure I had lost until I found out that in the first couple of paragraphs he mentioned the Holy Name three or four times. Sorry about that Wizard. I promise to keep working on getting you a license plate. Would any Vatican employee license plate be okay?

Of course! I was just joking. Is there still a place called The Puffin's Roost in Pikesville?

Thank you very much. Yes, any Vatican plate would be wonderful.
