Trump could end up accumulating a lot of delegates like this unless another four people drop out of the race before Super Tuesday (March 1).

In other words, we're in for at least 8 more weeks of this...

It feel like several will drop out after New Hampshire, as some of the lesser players have gone for either Iowa or NH. If they get nothing in NH, then it's a cue to try and leverage there small power behind one of the top three.

ABC set up the debate qualification rules before Iowa, and obviously didn't know that three people would drop out. I think that Carly should take a cue from Trump. She may get more media attention from being the only candidate cut from the debate, than she would get being in the debate.

Delegate count Iowa
8 Ted Cruz
7 Donald Trump
7 Marco Rubio
3 Ben Carson
1 Jeb Bush
1 John Kasich
1 Carly Fiorina
1 Rand Paul OUT
1 Mike Huckabee OUT
0 Rick Santorum OUT
0 Chris Christie

Well Jeb Bush has dropped out prior to Super Tuesday. Should Kasich and Carson join him?

It will help a lot with the threshold issue to just have Cruz, Trump, and Rubio to choose from.

Well, if they're gamblers, they must bet on the 50-1 horse to win.

Carson has all but admitted he's in it for
the name recognition. It's costing him
nothing and he has pricey speaking
engagements lined up for the next 2
years already. It would be funny if
Trump was paying him and Kasich
under the table to stay in the race
to take votes from the Cuban boys.

Yeah, I think Carson is going to stay in the race at 5-7% per state for the whole thing, just to keep his name in ink.

But when does that turn on it's head? When should he start cashing in on the speaking engagements? Will Carson and Kasich be invited to the Houston debate? Presumably as Carson spent all of his formative years in Detroit, he would help those ratings.

#10 February 25, 2016 – Houston, Texas
#11 March 3, 2016 – Detroit, Michigan
#12 March 10, 2016 – Miami, Florida
#13 March 21, 2016 – Salt Lake City, Utah

On January 10, 2015 Kasich began his second term as governor of Ohio. On July 21, 2015, he announced his candidacy for the 2016 Republican nomination for President of the United States. At what point do you piss off the citizens of your own state who elected you to be governor?

Delegates won
61 Trump
11 Cruz
10 Rubio
5 Kasich
3 Carson

Carson is correct. With every debate, every free
publicity TV interview he does, where he blandly
states that he still has a chance, it raises his
speaking fee. But only because he's black. He
stands out, he's one of a kind. A black retired
surgeon who ran for president. He'll be on the
rubber chicken speaking circuit for years, which
will make his wife very happy. And isn't that what
life really comes down to?

If I was looking for speakers, this guy would be last on my list
He is so soft spoken
He could easily put a room to sleep
If I was in the speaker hiring business, I would look for somebody with more dynamic speaking skills
