They qualified higher than the 2nd highest team by nearly 10 points!!! Simone Biles: top all-around contender by over 2 points. Top floor, vault, and beam qualifier. Aly Raisman: 2nd highest all-around contender, 2nd highest floor qualifier. Madison Kocian: top uneven bars qualifier. Gabby Douglas: 3rd highest uneven bar qualifier, 3rd highest all-around qualifier (unfortunately won't be able to compete in AA cause of the two per country rule). This pleases me because it means Australia isn't the only country with terrible coverage. It disappoints me because I will have to tune in to some of it later next week. |

I might catch the velodrome events, and some of the distance running. Somehow the 5,000 and 10,000m races bring me to the edge of my seat. It is said that your life flashes before your eyes just before you die.... it's called Life |
