Yeah, that's the excuse of the ignorant--that education doesn't matter anyway. Caring about punctuation is anal-retentive, sure--to those who lack the intellectual capability to understand correct punctuation.

I get that you don't care--you also don't care about facts. But I never had any trouble getting my second graders to learn how to use apostrophes. You wouldn't have had unlimited chances at the school where I taught. After you'd flunked second grade four times, you would have been sent to a remedial facility.

No, he's already failed, for a wide variety of other reasons. If you get every question on a True/False test wrong, you won't get any credit for penmanship.

Your error was not typographical or grammatical. It was a vocabulary error--one I've taught hundreds of second graders not to make. Tell you what. Explain to me the difference between "its" and "it's" and I'll send you an autographed photo of Hillary Clinton.

What's so funny about Obama going into
the media business is, he has nothing to
say. All his speeches are written by
somebody else and he reads them off
a teleprompter. When he speaks off
the cuff, he's awful. It's all um's and
uh uh uh uh, and pauses. This does
not make you a good candidate for
TV or radio.

All successful media people have one
thing in common, they have something
to say and can say it all day long off
the cuff. Obama will fail miserably, I
can hardly wait.
