Bob "Super Dave Osborne" Einstein (76),

For those who don't know, he played straight man Marty Funkhouser on Curb Your Enthusiasm. He also was on several episodes of Arrested Development.

Bad day to be 76 I guess.

My father also died at 76. It's one of my goals to outlive him.

Look for him on Nflix in a couple
episodes of Seinfeld's Coffee
show. Very funny guy. There's
a great tribute to his dad who
was a famous comedian and
dropped dead at a Friar's dinner
in 1958. Einstein's lucky to have
to have lived so long with bad
hearts on the male side of his
family.

I loved his character, Super Dave Osborne. It was ahead of its time.

Most men on my father's side of the family died of heart disease. I'm hoping to break the pattern.

His fave Super Dave was the one playing
the piano going under the RR overpass.
It happens at 5:12

Wow. Maybe we're going to need a Fleaswatter rule next year? The whole list looks like death row inmates.

Lol.....

I'm glad I didn't take FS up on his offer to wager! I hadn't thought of that angle! Well done, FS!

Herb Kelleher, founder of Southwest Airlines, 87.

An eccentric genius. Not fond of everything he did, but his success and impact on aviation is undeniable.

RIP.

It will be interesting to see how their corporate culture evolves after his passing. MBA types rarely have the vision and values to leave a good thing alone. They will try to fix something in the name of profits and ruin it.
