Bah humbug. Haven't liked it since I was a kid. I've always had to cook on Tgiving as an adult and learned to hate it. Luckily I have to do nothing this year because my wife's dad had the good graces to go into a coma last week at 95 and is dying. So it gets me out of cooking this year. for that I'm thankful.. But Bob, you're a cook, why do you hate cooking on tgiving? Because the food is so bland. My fam always wants the boring traditional fare. Turkey, regular stuffing, regular mashed potatoes and gravy, green bean casserole, mashed yams, bisquits from a tube. Bland boring food to cook and even worse to eat.. I'm making my own feast today the way I want it.. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

It seems like it would be depressing. But I would also imagine there would be some deals to lure in people who have nowhere to go. Anyone ever do a Thanksigivng Day trip to a casino? |

Unless you don't have to cook it year after year after year. I'm having a pork roast this year, and non traditional ways of making the rest. Thanks to my evil Baptist minister father in law.. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

I was in Vegas about 15 years ago on Tgiving weekend. It was totally dead, I mean apocalypse dead. Extremely depressing. Nobody in the casinos, employees grouchy, Cheap hotel rooms, though. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |
