Some people I speak to feel this could be a major pandemic and are stocking up on six months worth of food and water. Just this morning I learned Macau will be closing all hotels for two weeks. I know the death count is not that high so far, but the numbers of that and infections seems to be rising exponentially. Personally, I'm not an epidemiologist so don't have much to contribute to the discussion. I am very interested in SOOPOO's opinion. The question for the poll is what do you think the fatality count will be by the end of 2020? Knowledge is Good -- Emil Faber |

I’m not saying WHO/doctors/etc shouldn't take it seriously and try to contain it, but I don’t think it’s going to turn into a worldwide pandemic with millions of deaths. |

But potentially, if you can knock these things out early, you won't have to deal with it at all, or only on a very small scale. Unfortunately this one really spread before that was possible. You can thank the Chinese. That is why all of new ones are important, to get on to them as soon as possible to prevent what is already happening. Raise the alert as high as possible if you can get them early that way. You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |

I am rooting for the Corona virus, but hopefully less than 10% of the world population will die from it. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent. |
