I think he is referring to many subways that basically have que lines where you order and then walk down with the worker and he asks you each step what and how much you want.

Are you kidding me? I would
never do that in a hundred
years. I don't do waiting in
lines for anything.

What he said describes every Subway I’ve ever been to, probably around ten, or so, including ones in gas stations.

I consider it a positive, because you can make sure they’re putting everything you want on the sandwich.

I don't eat that food unless
I'm desperate, which I was
that day. It's faux food, crap
food, prepared by mouth
breathers. I would never
stand there like a dodo and tell
some HS dropout what I want
on a stupid sub. In fact I didn't
even eat most of the free ones
they gave me, I threw it away
after 2 bites. All I could taste
was too sweet mayo, yuk.

The Spicy Italian could be worse.

Perhaps you would like the Veggie Delight for something that is, “Real.”

Their ingredients are all crap. Most
people can't tell the difference because
all they eat is crap. I cook everything I
eat from scratch every day. No processed
food cheap quality ingredients like
fast food joints use.

For about two years every night I was on call I'd get the spicy Italian SALAD from Subway for dinner. There was one in our hospital. Lettuce, tomato, cucumber, green pepper, hot peppers, jalapenos, onion, bacon (extra charge), pepper jack cheese, pepperoni, capicola. Slathered in some sort of southwest chipotle dressing. It was $4.99, same as the $5 subs...., then an extra $1 for the bacon. Probably 5 times the ingredients of a sub, maybe more. Plus I think I got one free for every 5 I bought, as they were always having some 'point' specials.
One day they changed the point system, and subs went to $6, and my salad became a specialty thing and was around $10! So I started eating in the cafeteria. I was surprised how good the cafeteria had become (new management).

I think I just ordered the salad this way...... Spicy Italian salad, Everything.... except olives,... pepper jack, add bacon, southwest chipotle....

Nice! Great hack, too, until it ended. Basically an antipasto salad!

5 things I would never do again.

Own a big dog that drools

Go to any Disney property

Visit NYC

Eat at any Indian casino buffet. Everything is overcooked, always.

Travel outside the US. Been there. The videos on Utube are far superior to the actual experience.
