The stock is down less than 1% over the last five days and up for the month; it would appear this decision has been an absolute disaster for them.

I am tracking it now.

I wasn't previously.

Timing is everything.

Nike was the DJIA's largest declining stock yesterday.

Not sure if it's related though.

Both are now on my watch lists.

I like social firms trying to show a profit while showing price strength (bearish plays).

However, too much risk at low prices because bankers are socially oriented nowadays.

So it depends on who's running the stock.

The firm BUD was already in trouble.

Their stock price dropped by half during 2016-2020.

It has room for another similar haircut, now that they are practicing reverse discrimination.

I'd guess their numbers were weak as the result of retaliation by the LGTB community.

They were at least accused of favoring anti-LGTB through political contributions.

So their issue apparently was already centered around discrimination.

Then BUD practiced reverse discrimination.

A home environment is social and not capitalistic.

Cherry-pick, much? There's not a lot that DIDN'T drop significantly if you're putting the year 2020 in the range.

This event will have no impact. The simple fact of the matter is that you, and others who would boycott AB InBev for the same reason, represent such a small percentage of AB InBev sales that they wouldn't be at all fearful to send letters to your house directly telling you to f*** yourselves.

Did you know that, in 2021, North America:

https://www.ab-inbev.com/assets/pdfs/AB%20InBev%20-%202021%20Annual%20Report_FINAL.pdf

Only accounted for roughly 11.234% of the company's revenue in beer sales? That includes Mexico and Canada, as well.

AB InBev is headquartered in Belgium, a capitalist country, but in what might come as a surprise to you, a country that tends to be more socially liberal than we are...on a continent that is more socially liberal than we are...and on our continent, sells in Canada...who are also generally more socially liberal than we are.

Face facts, you're irrelevant to them. If you wanted to be important to a company, you should have started drinking exclusively from an independently-owned local brewery decades ago.

But, hey, I'm sure AB InBev appreciates your four decades of loyal purchases all the same. You're no longer needed. Sorry.

I'd say you're just a number to them, but you're not even that to them. You're probably a rounding error just in the sales of the stores/bars you bought AB InBev products from.

I have no doubt they'll go belly-up.

The BUD reverse discrimination was only the sign they have other more serious issues.

I'll take a look at their books.

I'll look for socialism baked into the cost structure.

It's pretty easy with a European firm because the peer pressure is so high.

It could show up in several ways, including ESG (socialism).

Even in their investment portfolio, if they were buying supposedly secure bonds and then the interest rate moving against them (if not hedged).

Someone like me that could contribute to their stock price being lower as the result of reverse discrimination, will cost them much more.

They could lose about $30-60B in market cap.

The good news is, since you won't live to see it, you'll never know for certain that you're wrong.

I'm just astounded that you think that you, and those similar to you, matter to the company. This entire continent could quit buying their products and they would, easily, continue to operate both profitably and as a going concern.

Yeah, okay, you go ahead and live in your world of illusion where you actually matter. In the meantime, I am going to maintain my acquaintanceship with reality, thank you.

The price of their stock can drop anytime and test the 2020 low.

That'd be about $60B in profit for bears that realize their mistake.

For them going belly-up, it might take 5 years or so.

Just another conversation at the Mad Hatter's table with an unsuspecting guest arrival.
You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

I am willing to put a sizable bet on that not happening. We're going to have to agree on what, "Belly-up," means.

You probably already realize that I'm too smart (not something I get to say often) to make any bet related to short-term price fluctuations. I think 2020 should have dispelled anyone making such a bet for any reason.
