California court rules in favor of baker refusing to bake a gay cake.

Anyway I was asking if a naked Adam and Eve on a cake is porno, just to be clear. As I said, it’s pre sin Adam and Eve. When they show them covering up this is fallen Adam and Eve about to be cast out by God.

Oh I fully agree Christians and terrible and do not understand the bible. No Christian baker should bake a cake for a wedding of somebody who was divorced (or more specifically a divorced woman). But, they do not understand the bible so what can you do....

This is actually why I don't have a problem with "biblical literacy tests" to vote (in the meta sense, obviously its a silly idea) it would ban almost all extremists from voting, and the only group who would solidly pass are atheists.

The bible also never bans abortion (actually the bible does not even view a fetus as murder, if you cause a woman to miscarry against her will by violence the penalty is a small fine), and even if you view abortion as murder, the bible is pretty okay with mass killing so.......

I am guessing that you do not think Facebook and other sites have the right to ban views they do not like then?

You do realize I agreed with the ruling? I am not sure what you are arguing with at this point.

Social Media sites have the right to ban people for posting content that violates their policy, they cannot ban somebody for any protected status.

What’s the difference? If they are free to ban people bakers should be too. They should actually be held to a higher standard being common carriers of sorts.

They are not free to ban for discriminatory reasons, just like the baker is not. If Facebook banned people for being gay they would be sued (and probably fined).

Businesses can ban whoever they want as long as the reason for the ban is not based off of their membership in a protected class (you can ban a gay man, but you can't ban them for being gay. You can ban a veteran, you can't ban somebody for being a veteran, you can ban insert race, but you can't ban them simply for being that race, etc....)

If your only reason for not offering goods, employment, or a service to somebody, is only because somebody is a member of a protected class that is illegal. However, they can be banned like anyone else for breaking any other rule.
