None of them claimed the loose documents were unclassified or even acceptable as unclassified. So, a responsible party would actually look at the documents Trump had and assume he wanted whatever the specific information was available to anyone. You don’t even need to judge him on the legality, just assume he would’ve authorized the declassification and judge him on that.
