Because they did not see any fit to invite as members. Because they did not want to invite people just to say they had members of this or that gender or skin color.

Women were not banned from play there, there just were none as members. And like I say, WHO CARES?! It is their club, let them do what they want.

As you are not a member let alone on the membership committee you have zero say on who it fit.

Who cares if the ones who were not fit care? It is a private golf club, not like it is something important. Let them be a member at some other club.

Anytime you make a choice on anything or anyone you discriminate. It is part of life.

I worry about important discrimination. Like schools that had to be taken to court for not giving religious groups the same access to public facilities as any other group. A golf membership at a private club is not important.
