Actually, now that I think about it, it's probably a great gift for someone you really don't like. You send anonymously of course and let them figure out the meaning. You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |

Nareed Member since: Oct 24, 2012 Threads: 346 Posts: 12545 | Is this broken clock at least right twice a day? :) I'm reminded of too many SF references to list any, but look up the Futurama ep where the garbage asteroid nearly collides with Earth. It's hilarious ("I award you the lowest grade possible: A minus minus!") Lastly, post this in the WoV site and ask that the EV is regarding a life insurance policy. Donald Trump is a one-term LOSER |

Why are we hearing so much about how long everybody is going to live, you know, how you might as well figure you'll make it to 90+ ? As for myself, I weight too much to expect to beat the odds. I'm Still Standing, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah [it's an old guy chant for me] |

The admiral of our center spent $40K on a giant countdown clock to the year 2000 to put on the roof. Everytime you look at it you wonder why he didn't think people couldn't count the days until the end of the year. |

They took it down. Presumably they can use it for a Space Vehicle launch or a festival. I have no objection to a countdown clock, but counting down to the year 2000 is just a giant advertisement about how the government is pissing away your money. |
