They took it down. Presumably they can use it for a Space Vehicle launch or a festival.

I think they should use it to countdown the Aug 21, 2017 total solar eclipse.

Speaking of which, don't forget to put the WoV meet in Idaho Fall, ID on your calendars for the big day!

No need to buy that watch, my life expectancy calculator will tell you when you're going to go for free. For example, I've got 30.49 years left.

You won't even be 80. You don't think medical science
will be able to keep you going past 80 by 2043?
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

I'm just going by the Social Security actuarial table. I think they assume the same gradual increase in life expectancy we've seen for decades, but don't get into the reasons.

The death rate for non-medical deaths appears to be around 50 per 100,000. So, roughly, in the next 30 years, I have 1.7% chance of dying accidentally, violently or through suicide.

The overall rate is 800 per 100,000. Which, forgive me if I am wrong Wizard, translates into a 1 in 125 chance of dying each year. Or an 78% chance of survival for the next 30 years.

This of course is hugely biased by age (http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/nvsr/nvsr61/nvsr61_04.pdf for the info on all that), but seems like 0.8% chance per year seems a good average for me. If you are over 55, the death rate starts to creep into the 1% range.

(Wiz's tables give me about 78% to survive the next 30 years as well...)

It'd be rather shocking to check one of those calculators and find out you were suppose to be dead yesterday.
