Use heavy duty aluminum foil and use a cookie sheet that has sides on it. Crimp the foil over the sides. Let the grease set till cold and carefully remove the foil and you have a clean cookie sheet. Always save the bacon fat, it has a myriad of uses. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Best way to cook bacon: Get great big turkey platter, pile on 25 pounds of sliced potatoes then add at top 5 pounds of bacon. Place turkey platter Under the grill and let the low heat cook the bacon with the grease automatically drizzling down thru the 25 pounds of potatoes. As you need bacon...take a few strips from the top to finish off on the grill. As you need potatoes ... take scoops of them from the bottom, they already have had bacon grease drizzled on to them so just find space on the grill. Simple. Mr. Pew: Are you continuing to be entertained? |

25# of sliced potatoes will fill a bushel basket. The size platter you would need is 4' long and 3' across. There's no oven that big. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

A 6 sq ft turkey platter? That's the story you're going with? Really? If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

You made me laugh, congrats. An oval platter still has sq ft, ya know. Sq ft doesn't mean the thing is square. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

I'll admit it may sound weird but it worked for them for years. It was a good. Bacon crisp, potatoes greasy. What more would us Gourmands want? |
