Forbes denies rumors that Madonna is now a billionaire. Some reports are that Julia Louis Dreyfus will inherit from her billionaire father (age 81). Many in front of the camera stars like Bruce Willis have earned fantastic amounts of money, but seem to spend it just as fast. Who do you think will be the next in front of camera or microphone star to become a billionaire? Even if they only estimated the amount that he's earned from the media side, he'd be up there, I would think, at 33B net worth this past year. Never doubt a small group of concerned citizens can change the world; it's the only thing ever has |

AZDuffman Member since: Oct 24, 2012 Threads: 135 Posts: 18136 | I do not think Madonna is a billionaire. Seems a stretch. I don't see anyone in the next 20 and surely 10 making it from in front of the camera. Simple reason is to make it from that side you need to produce 10 times that for the camera owner. Oprah made her money promoting her brand and getting an equity stake in her show. With the ever increasing fragmentation of media that will be harder and harder to pull off. The President is a fink. |

Some people claim she is worth over $800 million. She is a pretty savvy businesswoman, but she certainly isn't the top of ticket sales at age 56. Beyoncé's and husband Jay-Z's wealth, Wealth-X puts the couple's net worth at $950 million -- just shy of becoming a billionaire power couple. But like Oprah, they own businesses and don't just make money performing. Sometimes the product doesn't have to be groundbreaking. Headphones have been around forever, but Dr Dre made a fortune on them. A lot of people like Bruce Willis probably have earned more than a billion dollars, but are worth far less. |

I don't want to be rich. Ever meet a happy rich person? They're always worried about something. Business, their health, their rotten kids, their crappy marriage, the stock market, their full schedule, investments, who's ripping them off, who's begging them for money this week. It's not worth it. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

I've been poor. I'd take my chances =p Be bold and risk defeat, or be cautious and encourage it. |

Met plenty of happy ones. True, many make their lives a mess. The ones that keep a blue-collar attitude tend to be happier from what I have seen. The President is a fink. |
