If I could correct a couple things you said about my corona virus experience. Very minor, just for the record. I tested positive for Covid19 during my second week of illness, so I know I had it. My brother didn't test when he had it but has since tested positive for antibodies, which is supposed to be proof that he did indeed have it and have recovered. I have yet to have tested positive for antibodies as I attempted that test too quickly after my illness. Those antibody tests appear to be almost worthless at this point, as they are saying there is a huge false negative rate. But the test I had when I was sick, the swab to the back of the throat isn't in question, so I know I had it and I knew even before that test as there were other residence in our building that got the virus before us and they all tested positive. We just happen to live in a building that had a little cluster. There are a number of frequent casino goes, including professional poker players in our building.

Also AT WoV, you wrote that my brother suffered worse than me. That is not the case. My symptoms were worse and I got a second round, getting sicker after I thought I was improving, where as he only had one week of mild cold/flu like symptoms. That second week or second round is not uncommon. I am glad it was me that got that second week and not him. But either way, we are both recovered now and feeling good. And there have been no new cases in our condo building that I am aware of. If it had been 2 years ago before I sold the house and moved into a condo, we probably wouldn't have gotten it. That is the risk with condo type living where people share walls and common spaces and mailrooms, and touch elevator buttons and handrails. :(

I'll be honest with you. There is a recent Topic at WoV, involving gambling or a particular gambling claim, that I would very much like to weigh in on. Lol. I have been battling against this persons claims on another forum for several years now and have a perspective that has only lightly been touched on. BUT, I don't see a way to do that from here, so I will bide my time. lol.

We've run into one another here, there and everywhere, but I just wanted to say that it's nice to have you on board here. I hope that everything goes well and you end up back on WoV sometime down the line.

Wizard and I definitely get along, but as you may be aware, I'm not an Administrator on WoV currently and haven't been for a couple years. I think I'm only one here just because there was no reason to remove me, but I don't even post here very often.

More than that, the original situation that led to the banning had exactly nothing to do with me. In fact, I don't even recall that I knew anything about it until it happened, but I could be wrong about that.

Anyway. I sort of gave up the volunteer work I did for years with 2 different homeless youth groups here in Vegas. In 2017, I had my second heart surgery and 6 months later my partner passed away, and I just got away from it and haven't gone back. Probably should. Probably won't.
