| DRich Member since: Oct 24, 2012 Threads: 57 Posts: 5874 | My big DIY day included adding R134A to my 18 year old Toyota that I just bought. It is now blowing very cold but the real question is will it last or is there a leak in the system. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent. |

I had a Honda Prelude, though I bought it new, it was older than that, and I swear the air conditioner was made for Japan weather not America’s hot southern weather. (I don’t know how hot Japan gets actually, I just imagine it’s cooler overall.) |

Giving me "Nightmares of English teachers past." I was trying to say, my car was older than Drich's used car, though I bought mine new originally. |

I had no idea that people still waxed cars. I thought that all stopped when they were giving away cases of Turtle Wax on game shows in the 1970's. I don't think that I ever waxed a car. I am a spoiled rich American, when the luster fades just buy a new car. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent. |

Cheap used panels from all the usual places for selling used items. The cheap part takes some time and patience like any decent one item bargain hunting. He does go into avoiding some scams particular to panels on another video. |

I waxed a car once. It was a profound suck in both time and money (for supplies). Today, for about $25, I can just go to the car wash and get it done that way. |
