I think it is a very small deal. The Clinton impeachment was just an attempt by the Republican House to embarrass the president over something that was none of their business. Knowledge is Good -- Emil Faber |

That's why Arkansas and the Supreme Court disbarred him, because it was no big deal. Lying while under oath by a President is everybody's business. It's an impeachable offense. One people need to be reminded of. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Had Clinton said "this question is none of your business" then it would have been a small deal as far as the nation is concerned. Possibly not such a small deal for his marriage. My friend bought political advertising time for Clinton when he was a governor, and it seemed to her that everyone knew he was a groper. They would warn her about sitting next to him. |

I will keep saying it. Suppose your wife was sexually harassed by say a VP of her employer. When she sues, under discovery that VP lies under oath, possibly costing her the case. Is it still no big deal and "none of anyone's business?" Or would you want the guy to be fired?
It is a little more clear looking back than at the time, but just noticing his personality he comes off as that guy who people like but will hit on any woman in site. Some woman think it is cute, probably like the attention. Others stay away from him whenever possible. War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength |

I have been told that he can be mesmerizing, the kind of man that women will literally fall for him. But another story I heard involving the sister of one my work friends was that she was seated at a dinner between Bill Clinton and her husband. Bill was groping her under the table and seemed to enjoy her discomfort at fighting him off while not alerting her husband and causing a scene at this elegant dinner where everyone was looking her way. It seems like a kind of sociopath in movies. A kind of guy who could sleep in with almost any woman in the room, but throws a drink in the face of the one woman who rejects him. |

How many women have accused him of rape. He seems to get turned on when they struggle with him. Sick dude. Bill Cosby likes it when their lifeless. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Why the question mark. For a president of the US the correct answer should be zero. The press seems to think there's a world of difference between Clinton and Cosby, even though both are sexual predators. The biggest difference is, one is an old story and one is new. We're used to Clinton being disgusting, it hasn't sunk in with Cosby yet. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

An accusation is also not the same thing as a conviction, and that accusation contradicts her sworn testimony in another case:
So, at least one of those times she was lying. It looks like Clinton isn't the only former president accused of rape, so he isn't unique in that respect. I'd rather wait for Cosby's accusations to be settled before comparing him with anyone else. "Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but not to his own facts." Daniel Patrick Moynihan |

But he is the only one to be impeached for lying under oath about his sexual conduct. I like the kind of stories Paco referenced. As far back as his AJ days, Clinton had a rep of being a slimeball, to the point that women didn't want to sit next him. Why people put up with him is a mystery, he should have been knocked on his ass on a regular basis. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |
