Because he was a star in the Democrat Party. The Dems got flattened time after time. They won in 1976 only because of Watergate. Clinton himself could not pull even 44% of the vote in his first election. Ever see "Primary Colors?" The whole attitude on the left was, "He's a scumbag but he can finally win one for us!" Same thing happens in business. Get results and personal behavior gets ignored.

Last Friday the monthly Fox poll came
out. It had Cruz down 11 points from
the month before. O'Reilly said he had
no idea why he was down so much. Today
the monthly NBC/WSJ poll has Cruz down
by 10 points from a month ago. The talking
head on CNN said it's a 'head scratcher'.

It's not, they know why Cruz is down. It's
the ongoing sex scandal. It may not be in
the main stream media, but it's everywhere
else. Talk radio, online newspapers, blogs.
I get Google Alerts all day long with new
articles.

Cruz just said on O'Reilly he's down because
that's 'politics', and he immediately changed
the subject. lol

I think there's a higher chance you'll be reincarnated than this Cruz sex scandal amounting to a hill of beans. Sheesh, the majority of Democrats don't even give a crap about it.

You don't get it. Just the story of him being a
serial cheater is hurting him, why do you think
he fell 10-12 points in a month where Trump
was stubbing his dick for two weeks straight.
Trump went up in that month and Cruz
plummeted. It's the sex scandal, nothing else
has happened to Cruz in the last 4 weeks to
make him lose points.

not. The story is out there and it makes Cruz
look bad. That's the point of things like this
in an election year. Enough people will believe

There's the NE stories, and the DC madam story.
It's a double whammy. What does it matter if
it's true or not, the damage is being done.
Lots people believe it because Cruz is super
creepy anyway, he's shudderingly creepy.

I think people might believe Cruz had sex with a space alien.

Well, that is kind of the divide. To liberals, character does not matter as much. To conservatives, it does.
