Yes, but it has extended a fair deal: North Korea, Cuba, Russia, Venezuela (until cancer did something decent for once), Syria, Iraq, Zimbabwe, etc.

I'm sure America doesn't want to join that ignominious list(*).


Trump isn't the only such politician, not even the sole such politician in the US. But usually they don't get elected to the highest office in the land. Here in Mexico, we'd have that problem if we ever elect Jesus Cristo Padre de Dios Lopez Obrador, I mean Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador.

I just saw today that Hillary is going to knock off the talk of being the first woman POTUS as it is gaining her little in female support but really pissing men off. Even many women did not like the line. Rush has a poll that 50% of Bernie supporters will not vote for Hillary and 20% will vote for Trump!

Of course there is much overlap there, the 20% figure probably entirely or essentially entirely part of the 50%. Also likely overstated and many will in the end come home. But even half, even 1/10 of this number really puts her in a bad, bad way. At the least she cannot count on the #nevertrump crowd to carry her as she has at least as big a problem of her own in that regard.

At this exact same point in 2008, 72% of Hillary supporters said they would not vote for Obama.

We all know how that turned out.

Very unlikely.

For one thing, Fidel isn't dying of cancer as far as I know, but of living too many years.

He was rumored to have cancer, but there is no way to know for sure unless an independent party confirms.

As far as dying, the "exposure" might not have been sufficient.

We likely have a substance or three that might be carcinogenic over a period of years after an initial exposure. To avoid suspicion it would have to be chemical not radioactive, and have a latency period of years to develop full fledged cancer.

Personally, I think such an assassination weapon is near perfect for going after lifetime dictators who become troublesome. Perhaps it has never been possible to get it into N. Korean inner circle,. but I wouldn't be surprised if it's been considered.
