Found this on the other forum you camp on, maybe the creepiest thing I've ever read....

"I have one bedroom Kitty that sleeps with me all night and keeps me company. He's very special and I spoil the crap out of him."

Jesus dude, that's just sick. Special?

That must have been an old post that cat died several years ago at least. He was a very sweet pussy cat and I miss him all the time. Lots of people let a cat sleep on their bed, sometimes they let many cats sleep on their bed. What planet are you from.

The planet that doesn't shag their cats. "Sweet pussy" indeed.

It is not unusual for me and the wife to have two big dogs and two cats in the bed with us.

Everybody has their pets in their bed. It's unusual that for a couple years I haven't had any of my cats in my bed with me. And they would love it believe me. But they wake me up too much when they're in here so I put a stop to it.

I guess Star Trek was really about the future.

Quote:
Lithium in a crystal form was utilized in "lithium crystal circuits," important components in the power-generation systems of Constitution-class starships. In order to be utilized in this fashion, lithium crystals were required to be processed in large "cracking stations," such as the one on planet Delta Vega. (TOS: "Where No Man Has Gone Before") According to Harcourt Fenton Mudd, lithium crystals were worth three hundred times their weight in diamonds and thousands of times their weight in gold. (TOS: "Mudd's Women")

Over-expenditure of power could damage the lithium crystals, as happened to the starship USS Enterprise in 2266, when chasing a Class J cargo ship into an asteroid belt. Forced to extend her shields around the vessel to protect it from asteroid collisions, the Enterprise burned out three of four lithium crystals, forcing the crew to supplement with battery power. The fourth crystal subsequently failed, over stressed from handling all of the ship's power. (TOS: "Mudd's Women")

the latest thing to land on the moon was a private company venture . It made the news, but only sort of ... why isn't it more newsworthy than it is? not the first?

If you detect the polyps soon enough, it's easy to treat. Not as easy as skin cancer to see and treat. Nor as cheap.

Just to correct…. ‘Skin cancer’ is too vague a term. You are referring to malignant melanoma. Most ‘skin cancers’ are basal cell carcinomas, which are usually easily treatable with simple excision.

(If I remember correctly from a decade ago!)
