On the day of that tweet, the DJIA closed at 25409

Right now, it is about 21,100

It did go up for a few days after that tweet, so it was a good time to buy then, but it has subsequently dropped further, making that not such a good time to buy.

So, I think he was wrong.

I don't think it has hit the bottom yet.

Since you asked loudly....Are you better off than you were four years ago?

With the exception of virus no one predicted, yes I am.

It is ignorant to put your signature in bold, large type just to try and make a political point in a crisis. Does that make the one doing it ignorant? Answer for yourself.

Uh, he was absolutely wrong. If someone would have followed his advice and went "all in" on February 28th.... can you not see the problem there?

Not at all. I just think your signature was ignorant. I also believe that you have been rooting for a recession all along, but I could be wrong about that. Your signature made your online persona seem very Trump-like; something you say you don't like. Rooting for a recession in the face of this virus is repugnant.

I go about my daily life, better off than I was four years ago. I am on here less in general than I was before (but a little more now with the work slowdown) and I don't miss it a bit when I am gone. Some people interact in good faith; some don't. You don't.

The triggering seems more you than anyone else. It is just a buzzword that you like to use that means nothing on a board filled with attacks on each side all the time.

Have a great day and I truly hope you, and everyone else here, is better off than they were four years ago...and will continue to be better off each year.

Now, I am going to enjoy the day....Cheers!

Stocks are still a bargain at this point if picked correctly. Will they bargain be more or less of one another day? Most likely that will swing from day to day.

That's great for the top 1%. Are you part of that top 1%
How about the millions of regular working Joes like me that have lost thousands in the last week
The reality is not bargains, the reality is for most Americans, their IRA has shrunk

I'm certainly not better off due to my business sector, business travel, has been decimated.
