I hate to do what you always do,
but.. Obama said in 08 he would
have the most transparent admin
in our history. Instead he had the
most opaque regime in our history.
And is about to pay the price for
it. Now they're saying Flynn can
sue for millions and win in a slam
dunk.

Nobody is saying that except for his well paid lawyers....

He pled guilty.

He was a good General. Got mixed up with the wrong crowd.

He will not be winning millions from anyone.

Aren't you paying attention? It's the circumstances under which he pled guilty. They gave him a choice between a rock and a hard place. Choose one and a bad thing would happen choose two and a really bad thing would happen. So he chose the lesser bad thing, being forced to lie. He was railroaded, he was set up, he was framed, and when he is pardoned he can sue the living crap out of who did it.

Apparently libbies don't know how to use google.

If they did, they could have easily searched this: "forced to plead guilty when innocent"

He pled guilty.

Yes, you get it! He was forced to
plead guilty and will be pardoned
and was horribly wronged and will
now sue for millions.

Fed prosecutors are real good at
making you plead guilty to a lessor
charge you aren't guilty of, or
make something 10 times worse
happen to you if you don't.

He is appealing based on his prior representation being incomptent...

He was under investigation long before the election he was a shady person up to shady things. Obama warned Trump to stay away from him.... Trump of course did not listen because well Trump...

I don't blame Trump for Flynn nor did Flynn have anything to do with Trump....

If found wrongfully committed at a later date, Flynn will be eligable for 50k per year of wrongful sentance. This is NOT the case if Trump pardons him. And, no you cannot sue after being pardoned.

However, this is all hypothetical, he will NOT get pardoned. Even Trump now sees how dirty he was.

Bad person. Got tied up with the wrong crowd. But, America's interests in danger...

He pled guilty because he was guilty. We shall see if these new hearings reveal anything different (they won't).

Either way he will stay guilty and will not get pardoned.

You are right. You can sue. I should have been more specific. You just cannot sue "The Federal Government" after receiving a pardon as people have mentioned. A pardon is not an a special authorization to sue.
Potential for civil suits against certain agents and agencies that will not get anywhere are always possible.

Being pardoned means you are still convicted of the crime and determined to be guilty, but are exempted for the punishment. So you cannot get pardoned and be like "see I was innocent all along" ... If it not the same as an appeal or being found not guilty. You still have the conviction after being pardoned, and getting a conviction removed in another process entirely....

Anyway its a moot point. He is not getting pardoned.

Flynn is guilty, pled guilty, has been shady for years.
I don't understand why so many people on the right support him.... It would be a strange hill for Trump to die on to pardon Flynn (he won't)....

Perhaps the people supporting him are concerned about the way he was treated in this instance.

I think that anything that looks bad on the handling of the incoming administration by people like the FBI is good for the President. Any proof found of what he has been saying for years is good news.

But see the SCOTUS case, Ex parte Garland (regarding the effects of a pardon - not regarding whether a lawsuit would be sustained):

Quote: SCOTUS
“[T]he inquiry arises as to the effect and operation of a pardon, and on this point all the authorities concur. A pardon reaches both the punishment prescribed for the offence and the guilt of the offender; and when the pardon is full, it releases the punishment and blots out of existence the guilt, so that in the eye of the law the offender is as innocent as if he had never committed the offence. If granted before conviction, it prevents any of the penalties and disabilities consequent upon conviction from attaching; if granted after conviction, it removes the penalties and disabilities, and restores him to all his civil rights; it makes him, as it were, a new man, and gives him a new credit and capacity.”
