My fave moment of the debate:

Sanders: As I remember, you condemned superpacs.

Biden: You get rid of the 9 superpacs you have?

Sanders: 9? I don't have any superpacs.

Biden: You have 9, you want me to list them?

Sanders: Yeah you go ahead and list them.

Biden: C'mon man, gimmee a break.

Sanders: No, I won't give you a break on this one.

it up. Or in his dazed mind he really

It sends a signal that says that he is not going to pick the best person but that he is going to pick the best woman. Even if it is a weak signal, it was he didn't need to send at all. He has the nomination in the bag barring something tragic happening. That's all. It isn't the end of the world. It is not a huge mistake. It is just an unforced minor error.

I don't even think the timing is bad. As we all know, before the decision actually comes down, the idea of a candidate cruising to victory is a very dangerous attitude. He's needs to bury Sanders, and make sure he stays buried until the final moment. Sanders should do the same. You should throw the kitchen sink in.
