A false equivalency. I never predicted that Hillary/Cuomo/anyone other than Biden will be the nominee. I did say that there is a certainly a realistic chance that it will be non-Biden. I’ve mentioned I’d be willing to bet on certain non-Biden’s given acceptable odds. I’ve said many times I’d take Cuomo at 50-1. Probably Hillary as well. |

I wasn’t referring to you. EB and Shrek are the main ones who keep saying Hillary will be the nominee. Of course there’s a non-zero chance Biden won’t be the nominee! There is, however, zero chance the democrats would replace him with Hillary. “A straight man will not go for kids.” - AZDuffman |

Clintons need to stay away. There have caused enough pain for the party. |

Ok then, according to Shrek if she doesn’t get in you’ll owe the lefties an apology. “A straight man will not go for kids.” - AZDuffman |

But 4 years ago the lefties said she was "the most qualified candidate in history!" What changed? Did she lose qualifications over 4 years? War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength |

...but they won't. Perhaps Bill is mostly gone, but Hillary is still trying to keep her name in the news. Maybe it is just to sell books or to remain relevant. Maybe there is more to it, but I don't put much stock in her somehow becoming the nominee. I also don't know how she helps Biden all that much; she is the wife of a serial womanizer and is supporting an accused (not investigated or proven, which suddenly matters again!) sexual predator. The people elected Trump; he had more than a couple allegations out there...if the people needed to elect Biden supported Trump in 2016, there is no reason to think the allegation will stop them from voting for him. I just don't think Hillary helps. Is Hillary a better possibility than Cuomo? Well, if the idea of the election campaign would be to challenge Trump's actions in the pandemic, he is an easy response target for being responsible for placing Covid-19 patients in nursing homes with non-infected folks. I don't know how much the whole "blame someone for the pandemic" thing will go...no one person caused and no one person will fix it. It could gain the Democrat some votes, but I don't think it will be a huge amount. The economy part of it could be more of an issue. Old Joe is going to help the middle class that he hasn't helped all that much during his 40 years or so in office... Yes, I do see Chelsea as getting into politics. I also see the Bush's remaining in politics. One of them ran in my district but was eliminated from the runoff. He doesn't live in the district and there were much stronger candidates available. I don't wish ill on any of them and I think the Bushs were nicer and had a cleaner record than the Clintons, but it would be great to not have those two names around running for office any more. Same with any remaining Kennedys. |

| terapined Member since: Aug 6, 2014 Threads: 76 Posts: 12501 | All this talk of another person instead of Biden is just complete BS. Biden won, he's running, end of story. Conservative talk of anybody else running against Trump is absurd, right up there with Michelle being a guy. Its dumb and stupid. End of story? My Hamilton to you if Biden is the nominee. Your Franklin to me if it is someone else? |
