He cant deal with reality. The world has changed. A lot of the jobs lost are never coming back. My job is not coming back next year(International business travel).

Is Biden going to tell is he is not going to make the economy come back?

Whoever is President will deal with the challenges of an economy devastated by having to shut down for an extended period of time. We may spend all day blaming someone for what happened, and some actions may have made things better (or worse) that how they have been to date...but no one in our government (federal, state, local) purposefully brought on this scourge.

We need someone who wants it to come back and works to make it come back. Someone who is optimistic and will help us get as many jobs back as we can.

I feel bad for folks in your position, It sucks to have a job go away.

Every job will not come back. Some people will retire; others will move into other areas.

You've all read my posts on the abject failure Cuomo has been. Well, I have an awning that was cleaned this winter and the company was supposed to put it up this week. It's Friday, and no awning yet.... I called.... The guy politely told me that awnings are only sort of essential. That they are allowed to put it up but only if it can be done by a single person. Apparently my awning is big enough to need two people to put it up. Awning guy believes the governor will say it is safe on May 15. But not until then. The lack of common sense in all these decisions is stunning. Well, maybe I shouldn't be stunned. Cuomo does look good in his freshly dry cleaned suits...

Bob... it's snowing out now.... the awning being up or down does not change my plans for the day..... my point is, and I KNOW you agree, is that the the Governor's orders are just plain STUPID! Not based on any common sense.

This was mentioned on Wizard of Vegas, but since mentioning the political aspects there are not allowed I wanted to bring it up in this thread.

Doug Polk is starting a petition to for a recall election for the mayor of Las Vegas due the mayor's dangerous plans for re-opening the city.

I have long loved Doug Polk, great Youtube channel, and great Poker Player (some people are going to bash me for saying that, don't care, I like him)....

But, I now have a newfound respect for him, he is doing what I have urged many to do, work on the recall process for local Mayors, Sheriffs, and Coroners who are endangering their citizens (and tourists) by defying guidanceand wanting to re-open the economy too early.

She wants to turn Las Vegas into an experiment, re-open everything and let the city be a guinea pig for the world.

Luckily Polk has other strong supporters of this recall in the Poker World like Daniel Negreanu.

I hope that the professional Poker Players will inspire more recall efforts across the country for rogue local officials who are not following federal and state guidance.

Yep, that's the libbies for you! They want 330 million people to suffer just to "save" people from a virus that 97% of people will recover from anyway. 🙄
