You just dont see this in Taiwan. You just dont see anybody in Taiwan declaring the virus is fake. If you did that, you would be shamed out of the country.

Their neighbors in Hong Kong protest waving US Flags. That one really shows something. The USA has no special ties to Hong Kong yet they look to the USA. If I were a journalist I would try to get a story on that (without getting myself thrown in China prison.) Ask the man on the street with the USA Flag why he is waving it? Why not the Union Jack? Why not anything else?

Based on that I highly doubt people in Taiwan "pity us." Maybe people there who prefer to live under communism.

The US has now done over 70 million tests by far the most of any country. Don't suppose that large number of tests has anything to do with the large number of cases reported.

Of course that must be fake news since the tests and labs are financed by the Feds and we all know that the President is doing nothing about Covid.

You're right about Trump. He would never allow the US to fall so far behind China that he would have to allow it. But he probably won't be around six months from now.

As for Japan and SK, Japan has less than 250,000 people in their military, and SK won't dare make a move, knowing they have a million man NK army on their border, just waiting to invade.

Soon, while President Harris can only watch and bite her nails, the glorious Peoples Liberation Army will flatten Taiwan like a scallion pancake.

Those countries strength and influence are due to their economies

Friend's sister was in the hospital being treated for depression. No visitors due to the pandemic. After she became ill and died, he received her in a sealed body bag, marked "Possible Covid". The hospital never tested her. He had to bury her in that bag, without ever seeing her for the last time.
