Played poker at the local card room for the first time since February 2020. Felt great! I managed a slight gain in spite of some mistakes and oversights due to lack of practice. Need some more seat time to get my game back.

Not that anyone here cares, but the game changed a since last year. They found a way to make bomb pots even worse. In a regular 1-2 no limit holdem game they do bomb pots, double board pot limit Omaha every round of the button. I managed to sit most of them out. They live for those pots.

Too many and I move tables
Becomes a custom then I won't play
I actually dont like to gamble
Just like to play cheap games

They have to get their vaccination rate up. I don't think there's any other long term solution that would work other than a completely isolated island nation.


You can lock down to try to slow otherwise overwhelmed hospitals, but that's not going to work forever.
