It is the law pretty much across Canada. In BC you have to actually scan the QR code with a special app that picks up the fakes.

Restaurants in the French Quarter were looking at Vax cards.

I offer it with my drivers lisc
I also have a button on my hat "fully vaccinated" but that doesn't mean anything

Yeah ours are not that advanced. Its literally just a piece of paper that is filled out by who gives you the vaccine, even mine looks fake (its just handwritten by the nurse who did the first dose with my name on the top). There is no central database to verify or scan cards.

I am actually surprised more people don't fake them (maybe they do), its got to be easier than getting a fake ID (by far) (especially if all you need is a picture of it).
