You know that is not true. Each community or State has wide discretion as to what they deem illegal or not. I would guess there is no federal law against shoplifting, for example. I DO agree with you, that if any citizen is having their rights abridged, as in not being allowed to pass on public streets in that area, that those doing the blocking should be arrested. And all necessary force can be used, including lethal force if necessary.

I am actually surprised at the restraint Trump has shown so far. We cannot be privy to the behind the scenes conversations about this, and what the next step will be.

Sam Harris had a pretty good podcast last night on this topic. He is pretty balanced and good at reviewing both sides.

Trump has set the tone for extreme tough talking. So we get extreme push back from the left.

Kenarman, you don'y understand..... When the left is behaving badly.... the only thing they have is to blame Trump.

They burnt that store to the ground because of Trump.
They were looting high end purses because of Trump.
They killed the cop defending a store because of Trump.
The burnt the police station down because of Trump.
They are arrested more frequently because of Trump.

Sedition is a federal offense, therefore, the federal government can respond anytime it likes.

I wouldn't call it restraint; I'd call it not having a sack.

You have to feel for the Left. They consistently want to hold Trump responsible for everything and abandon formerly strong positions on issues "because Trump"...

Trump didn't choke George Floyd.

Trump didn't start the riots or looting.

Trump did not lose control of any city.

Trump does not want to de-fund the police.

Only someone who has not paid attention for years can possibly believe that Trump caused the racial divisions in our country. They've been here a long time, they have not been properly addressed by any of our long term politicians, and they are continually festering just below the surface. It isn't about statues or any of that, those are just distracting symbolism both in standing and in being torn down. That doesn't fix education, poverty, income levels, issues with people getting hassled without cause, etc.

Trump has been around for three years. A whole lot of people have been in DC for years and years.

Once you "get Trump", what the heck are they going to do to our country? They haven't made it better in 30-40 years.
