This is a democrat created problem. Let them solve it. They want to run the medical care system for the entire country, and they can’t even control six square blocks. They are baiting Trump into sending in the military. The dems and MSM want images of US troops patrolling the streets so they can call Trump a modern day Hitler and a racist who sent his Storm Troopers to put down a ‘peaceful’ protest. The Mayor has already called it ‘a block party’. It’s a set up. Cuomo tried the same thing last week when he refused to bring in the National Guard while they were attacking the police in NYC, and burning and looting five days in a row. |

They succeeded in getting Amazon and Microsoft for prohibiting sale to the government for at least a year.... Sad, a lot of this is because they don't want to recognize pillagers on TV for future prosecution. I like the idea of tracking people who are violent. Big tech is curtailing to the whims of the mob.... |

This man was defiling and destroying property that he had no right to harm. Now they are trying to decide if there is a legal remedy ($$$). This should be laughed out of any court room. I am not in favor, in general, of statues coming down BUT there is a peaceful way to have them removed. Follow that process. Protest if you don't like the result of the process. Try again and again. Just don't get your dumb a** killed trying to do something illegal! Again, tearing down all the statues and rewriting any history that you would like to will not fix the problem. Won't even make a dent. Real change is hard work. |

And she (an African-American woman) is implying the orders to leave them alone is coming from above (doofus mayor). I don't know the demographics of Seattle, but if she gets re-elected Seattle becomes a no-go city for most of America. |

Sorry, it is time for her to resign in protest or, if there is a legal way to support her action, send it officers to stop violent crimes. That the mayor and governor are okay with this is tragic. Someone will die and it won't help one damned bit in the fight against racism. What peaceful protesters that may exist in the area are now tacitly encouraging the illegal acts of others, as is anyone with authority to stop it not doing it. The governor should be using the powers he has...but maybe this is all a "Trump Trap" to force his hand and make him take action. The local and state leaders are negligent at best. |
