And this poll was top-heavy with Democrats and he still only got 39%. I wonder what his real numbers are, 35%? The Dems in Congress see this and they go absolutely berserk because they know when your guy is in the Oval with poll numbers like this and an election year is coming up you are royally screwed. This poll was taken for the three days before the town hall. If it was taken today it will be even lower because that town hall was a joke, Beijing Joe was pitiful. ![]() The Trafalgar Group @trafalgar_group #Inds 32.2%, #Dem 61.2%, #GOP 11.1%, 39.2% Approve, 58.4% Disapprove, 2.4% No Opinion, If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

You are afraid of what then? Peace and prosperity? Getting our of bad treaties. Great handling of the china virus? Tell us what exactly "Trumpsih" are you afraid of? Something tells me you hate "level headed" Nixon, Reagan, Bush41 and Bush43. War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength |

I can't speak for him, but as a moderate Democrat: I would vote for Bush43 in a heart beat, I think he is awesome, and I think history will remember him far more favorably than the current media makes him out. Bush 41 I would vote for over Clinton (though that is a low bar, I would probably vote for almost anyone over either Clinton). Reagan I would never vote for. With the benefit of hindsight he failed on too many issues. In the moment he would be a celebrity trying to use popularity to get into politics (yes I know he was a Governor in the past). Nixon, even though he had some policies I would like, he was campaigning on getting out of Vietnam and making a deal with North Vietnam (see Taliban, and see history of how well his deal worked out), this alone is a deal breaker, even if he had some impressive social and environmental policies for a Republican (especially of that era). Even in the moment (not having the benefit of hindsight), I would know enough to know that North Vietnam could not be trusted to keep a deal and that pulling out would mean collapse. The is the biggest deal breaker, everything else is secondary. If the Vietnam War did not exist and/or Nixon did not have an insane view on Vietnam (and I did not know about his corruption which at election time I would not), he would be a reasonable candidate, especially depending on who he runs against. But, Nixon dug his own grave in that most people remember him for failing in Vietnam and then being shady around the election, when he could have gone down in history as liked by both sides. Going further back in history, there is quite a long list of Republicans I would support (and I would even concede many of our "greatest ever" Presidents are Republicans, especially in the Civil War and post Civil War Era, and World Wars Era). |

What they constantly complained about here when Trump was president. His mean tweets and him being rude to the Press. They never complained about the roaring economy, or cheap gas prices, or huge number of jobs that were created, or energy Independence. They never complained about him getting rid of Isis, or making friends with North Korea, or getting fair deals with China. They complained about Trump's hair and him being 'fat'. They would much rather have somebody like Beijing Joe who is Flushing the country down the toilet than somebody who is mean to the press. Beijing Joe just ignores the price, totally. He hasn't had a press conference since July and even then it was fake. He had a list that he looked at of people to call on who had already submitted questions that he had answers for. What's the point. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

And yet, he’s STILL 6 points ahead of where Donny was at the same point in his term. That fact must drive you righties crazy. 😂 “A straight man will not go for kids.” - AZDuffman |

Rolling back environmental protection. Prioritizing energy over environment: see "fracking." Not giving a rat's patooie about the environment. Tariifs. Telling our allies to F off. Being Putin's little lap dog. His paranoia and inability to get along with the establishment created governmental chaos. Revolving cabinet. Worst of all he's just a truly horrible person. |
