The British prime minister called Beijing Joe's Afghanistan decisions 'imbecilic', implying he's an imbecile. The British government rebuked Beijing Joe and that's never been done to one of our Presidents in history. The Brits are going to have to leave Afghanistan one day before the Americans do because they do not have the forces to hold the airport against the Taliban after the Americans leave. What Beijing Joe has done is totally go against what NATO stands for. Those other countries are in Afghanistan because we got bombed on 911. They are there because of NATO and Beijing Joe has totally abandoned them like NATO doesn't even exist. This is not only a disaster for the people left behind and for the Biden Administration, it's a disaster in our standing among our allies. A reporter who has covered the last five presidents says he cannot believe what they are saying overseas about our president. He has never seen such vitriol and outright bitter name-calling.

Absolutely not true and you know it. They should have started removing civilians in March and by now they would all be gone. Then you remove the diplomats and the equipment. Lastly you remove the troops. Absolutely no mess involved whatsoever. That was Trump's plan, he laid it out a year before he left office. In fact the military told him it would be cheaper to leave the equipment behind and Trump said he didn't care he did not want it to fall into the enemy hands.

I'm glad we're out of there: time to pay attention to domestic, not foreign / military needs.

I vote Libertarian, as their politics most closely mirror my own.

Why should the USA continue to spend so much money on defense and foreign aid?

The world isn't really all that scary, so long as we don't bother other people.
