Perhaps it will all just "go away" as other issues come up and he does a better, or worse, job. I know we have short memories overall.

Generally, news items need to have things happening regularly to keep at the top of news heap.

I’m very weary of the guys who bitch and whine about the MSM’s every move now treating the MSM’s initial freak out over the withdrawal as some sort of gospel.

No one really cares about your weariness. It doesn't matter if you and the rabid supporters never accept that the withdrawal was a failure and ended our time in Afghanistan on a bad note instead of a good one, most real people and pundits do get it.
