The point is checking his was watch wasn't insignificant to the parents of the soldiers that died.

Anyone remember 1992 POTUS debate when Bush41 got called out for checking his watch during the debate?

Now the liberals act like it is no big deal.

No idea how these people live with themselves.

Checking his watch all the time it's definitely a sign of old age
Old people with dementia check their watches a lot because
they don't remember that they just checked it. It's the first
thing I thought of when I saw Beijing Joe checking his watch
over and over.

I remember that vividly. Bush checked his watch exactly
once near the end of the debate between him Ross
Perot and Bill Clinton. The libbie press went absolutely
berserk and said he was arrogant and impatient and didn't
have what it takes to lead the country. It was headline news,
they acted like he stood up dropped drawers and
mooned the camera with his saggy old ass.

Beijing Joe does it, some have reported who were there,
13 times, and the Libbie press says, nothing to see here.
There are multiple witnesses the saw him do it multiple
times and one of them even counted them. The families
were hugely offended by the senile oaf. As well they should be.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

I am surprised only I brought it up. Limbaugh would have.

No. I missed that debate as I was 4 years old at the time.

I voted for Bush that election
I never voted for Bill Clinton.
I remember that race clearly
Because
That was the race Ross Perot was getting attention
I don't remember anything about a watch

""Only 10 more minutes of this crap."—President George H. W. Bush on what he was thinking as he checked his wristwatch on camera in the midst of a 1992 presidential debate with Bill Clinton and Ross Perot."

I'm surprised that you don't remember; it was a huge mistake on his part to telegraph how uncomfortable he was having to defend how things were going and how ready he was to get the hell out of there.

Kind of reminds me of how anxious Biden is to get out of the room before taking to many questions or, if you are more cynical, to avoid upsetting whoever is telling him not to take questions and/or who to call on.

Somebody checked their watch and I'm supposed to remember that
How about this
I was listening to the substance of the debate.
Anybody from that election admit their vote was due to Bush checking his watch???????????????????????

Maybe you mean he doesn't give the answers you want to hear. I can't think of one potentially troubling subject that wasn't thrown at him as some point.

You are seemingly an astute observer of things political and it does surprise me that you don't remember the incident OR the press that followed.

Looking at his watch showed that he basically wanted the hell out of there, which is not really what most people want to see in a leader.

I don't know the answer to your rather flippant question nor do I give a shit enough to look and see if anyone admitted to that. You are smart enough to know that, other than loyalty to a party, position, or person, it is usually a combination of incidents that lead to a decision to vote for someone if we are considering more than one candidate.
