I suspect that most republican men don't care about abortion one way or another; it is a political issue that galvanizes the religious pro-lifers, thus buying their votes.

Not sure what moderate republican women think about the issue, especially if their unwed teenage daughter were to get knocked up.

Most Republican women lean pro-life. They value motherhood and do not hate that they were born female like most liberal women hate being born female.
