Calling for a President to not be fact checked is a lot different than someone suing if they thought that they had a case. It is a chilling attempt to tell the media how to act. I guess in your world it is only chilling if Trump does it.

Part of that protection is proactively keeping him away from psychopaths and criminals, not putting him next to one on stage.

I have said that everyone should be fact checked.

The media having commentators supporting the President who say that he should not be fact checked but Trump should be is just crazy.

Trump should be fact checked.

Biden should be fact checked.

A person employed by the a media outlet should not call for anyone to be free of fact checking. If I hear one say it on another outlet, I will let you know. If they claim the fact checking is biased or wrong, they can show evidence and we can make our own conclusions.

Your understanding of innocent until proven guilty is a bit off. All the actions completed so far have been civil, not criminal. He has yet to be judged for anything criminal by a jury of his peers.

Isn't that the standard unless he cops a plea?

Anyway, he would get taken out should he do anything to the other guy. I don't think he wants to go for that experience.
