So, this is probably why 400 economists have just endorsed Harrris.

1% of economists. Sounds about right.

More like 400 kiss-ass economists looking to work in her administration.

What makes you think GDP is an accurate measure economic health? It isn't.

Easily manipulated through extreme debt. Definitely not an indicator of a healthy economy when it is debt driven.

U.S. debt to GDP ratio 123%
China debt to GDP ratio 77%
Germany Debt to GDP ration 59.8%.

Total US GDP: $24 trillion

Total Federal Debt: $35 trillion
Total US household Debt: $18 trillion
Total US Business Debt: $21 trillion

Harris' sound economic policy. $1.7 trillion spending plan, raise corporate taxes to drive even more manufacturers out of the US, tax unrealized capital gains for the rich.

Migrants headed north, while US jobs headed south.

United States Richmond Fed Manufacturing Index shows steepest decline in factory activity since May 2020, when the factories were shut down for the pandemic.

Countries struggling to survive as they/we import illegals to replace the deaths causing havoc.

The abortion numbers (opportunity cost) compound exponentially in later years due to the loss of producing succeeding generations.

Preventing abortion since 1972 could've easily overcome any national deficit & debt, social security liability, etc.

Too late now (?) but never too late to learn as this one defaults.

The Economic Cost of Abortion

Ranking Member Mike Lee (R-UT)

Joint Economic Committee Republicans

JUNE 15, 2022
.
.
.
KEY POINTS

• In recent weeks, U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen and other
economists have argued that restricting abortion would
negatively affect the economy, particularly by diminishing the
labor market outcomes of women. These arguments overlook
the far greater economic cost of abortion due to the loss of lives
of the unborn.

• JEC Republicans estimate that the economic cost of abortion in
2019 alone—due to the loss of nearly 630,000 unborn lives—was
at least $6.9 trillion, or 32 percent of GDP.
o This economic cost estimate relies on standard
methodologies used by federal government agencies to
quantify the benefits of policies that affect mortality risks.
We apply the same methodology to abortion, which
increases the risk of mortality to unborn babies.

• JEC Republicans estimate that the economic cost of abortion
due the loss of unborn lives is 425 times larger than the earnings
loss mothers would be expected to incur when having a child.
o Earnings of the average mother fall by approximately
$26,000 over the first six years of her first child’s life. If each
abortion prevents maternal earnings from falling, all
abortions in 2019 could save mothers $16.2 billion in
earnings over the next six years. However, the JEC’s $6.9
trillion cost of abortion estimate far outweighs these
projected earnings benefits.

• Abortion imposes external costs on society not reflected in JEC
Republicans’ $6.9 trillion cost estimate. In the long run, abortion
shrinks the labor force, stunts innovation, and limits economic
growth. It also weakens the solvency of social insurance
programs like Social Security and Medicare that rely on workers
to support a growing elderly population.

• Abortion at its core is a moral issue rather than an economic one.
But even in economic terms, the costs of abortion vastly
outweigh any claimed benefits.

Sanger ties into race.

It's a little different strategy than physical slavery, but seems to work much better in reducing specific populations.

I'd guess most abortions are from black women (over 50%?).

We needed the aborted lives in order to economically survive as a country (see previous posts).

Birth control leader Margaret Sanger: Darwinist, racist, and eugenicist

December 2008
.
.
.
Margaret Sanger was the founder of Planned Parenthood, the leading organization advocating abortion in the United States today. Darwinism had a profound influence on her thinking, including her conversion to, and active support of, eugenics. She was specifically concerned with reducing the population of the ‘less fit’, including ‘inferior races’ such as ‘Negroes’. One major result of her lifelong work was to support the sexual revolution that has radically changed our society.

Margaret Sanger, abortion, and Democrat women

Half of the black children conceived in America today are aborted with the Democrat women in white knowingly or unknowingly supporting and fulfilling Sanger’s vision of exterminating blacks, which is why her message was so well accepted by the Democrat women in white of the KKK.

If we take 50,000,000 abortions overall conservatively, the first tranche would have had about 10,000,000 million producers or so.

Those 10,000,000 producers could have turned into about 100,000,000 million producers today.

Then the second wave of 10,000,000 abortions the next generation, could have turned over similarly but less than the older generation.

Then the third and so on up to the fifth tranche.

There would be no way to import illegals in a few years to compensate for all the deaths.

The Ponzi scheme of Social Security is based upon "paying in" growth.

Since abortion is death, so is Social Security if not enough are paying in relative to those receiving out (accounting for currency debasement).

The numbers can be fudged with illegals for awhile, but all the Ponzis will fail, including the administrator's overall debt (government).

The reason it can fail, is because of the lack of the magic of compounding.

The illegals are not compounding so we'd need about 400 illegals to one abortion.

You’re a little optimistic if you’re that sure that she’s ahead in enough swing states. In the last two presidential elections the polls underestimated Trump support. She might be behind in PA, NV, AZ, NC, and GA. I think her campaign knows it.

From Pew Research:

My betting window is open :-)
I'm willing to put money on Harris
She is the clear favorite in the betting markets

I think it’s pretty even. I don’t see an advantage to betting either side. Both sides are contesting ONE electoral vote in Omaha.
