Sadly, I think you are right. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent. |

DeSantis may have popular policies with the Repubs but he is definitely casting himself as a divisive figure to the Democrats. Another stupid rule. As I understand it the minority party (Repubs) get X members on a committee, and the majority party (Dems) get X +1. I can see no reason that either party should not be able to change who they appoint to a committee at any time. I assume if Feinstein resigns the Dems can replace her on the committee post haste. And since she is in absentia anyway, and her replacement will be a Democrat, she should resign yesterday…. |
