Why not? Trump was President for 4 years and ABSOLUTELY NOTHING happened to the ACA. And as I’ve said many times, people who can’t (or just won’t) pay for their healthcare just show up at my ex place of employment….. and…. get healthcare! There are a plethora of reasons to not vote for DJT. Worrying that the ACA will be overturned is not a credible one. You’ll always find a dozen or two Republican congresspeople who won’t vote to kill it. |

SCOTUS Won’t Fast-Track Trump Immunity Case No big surprise here, the Supreme Court is giving the middle finger to Jack Smith so now the case has to work its way through the lower courts starting sometime in January and if it does reach the Supreme Court it will go on the docket as a regular case and the court won't decide on it till June. After that the trial process can begin and it probably won't happen until 2025. Cases like this typically can take years to process. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

| Evenbob Member since: Oct 24, 2012 Threads: 148 Posts: 25978 | The Hill, the left leaning left wing publication has looked at hundreds of polls and has concluded that Trump is leading in the general election by 2% over Captain Poopypants. This is a huge deal no Republican has won the general since 2004, they almost always lose and win the electoral college. If this is true that Trump is ahead by 2% the election is over, Trump has won because it's only going to get worse from here on. Biden's poll numbers are not going to go up far enough where he's going to get enough votes to overcome Trump's 2% lead. 2024 is here and this is where polls start to mean something. Go back to 2020 and look at some of Captain Poopypants campaign speeches, and compare that guy to the guy that's in the White House now. It's incredible how far downhill he's gone and he was bad in 2020. For a real shock go back to 2017 which is only 6 years ago and look at some Biden speeches. Totally unrecognizable from who he is now. Go back and look at Trump in 2017 and he's exactly the same person now. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

No, he is not. He has lost a couple of steps, too. He can't let go of 2020 which is a huge mistake on his part. He already has his base; the votes he needs (and polls don't matter all that much right now since the election is not until November) are from people that don't believe he won in 2020 or that are tired of hearing about it. Polling-wise, those may be softly in his corner for now but they can easily drift away. The polling may be going his way but he is a long way from winning the election. |
