Single bathrooms with locking doors actually protects them. Men attacking a woman is called a daily local story everywhere. They’re attacked on the street, in the open, in their homes, at work, at schools, at the gym, in a parking lot, etc. It ticks the sensational box when a transgender does it.

If you want to do something meaningful about it, do something that might make a real difference.

I’m generally against censorship. I haven’t studied the exact reasoning behind DeSantis wanting Black Studies removed as an AP course but the gist I got was that the curriculum didn’t pass the smell test for presenting facts, and rather, presented a political agenda made to look like it was presenting facts.

I am unaware that anyone considers pro choice/ pro life decisions ‘woke’. If someone wants to call me woke for being pro choice I guess they can but I couldn’t care less.

I LOVED the drag show I went to on Key West. I also agree that it’s inappropriate for kids. Kind of like alcohol, gun ownership, smoking, etc… But if you are asking me if they should be legal, heck yeah. I want the government less involved. Drag shows, prostitution, presently ‘illegal’ drugs, suicide, ….. let consenting adults do what they want.

Voting for Biden for most is just a vote against Trump. I certainly wouldn’t label someone who I know nothing else about as woke just for having voted for Biden

Of course driving an EV is not woke. Being in favor of punishing those that don’t is woke. And forcing the conversion to all electric before we have an infrastructure to accommodate all the extra needed electrical needs is, well, you can say stupid. Or you can say woke.

You are having a comprehension problem. I use woke to describe specific issues/ behaviors. If someone is a proponent of most of them, like you, it certainly doesn’t mean they are ‘woke’ on every issue. I have given you SPECIFIC examples.

It’s not the best descriptive term. It generally is supposed to be indicative of policies that Conservative Republicans like DeSantis feel are just so out of touch with ‘regular folks’.

Like having no bail requirement for the vast majority of those charged with crimes.
Like allowing those born as males to compete on women’s sports teams.
Like proposing $5 million per African American in San Francisco as reparations.
Like announcing that the next Supreme Court Justice will be a Black woman, essentially, no matter what.
You get the point.

Just replace “woke” with the N-word in your head and you can easily understand what the anti-woke crusaders are talking about.
