There is likely a lot that has to happen for safety and security purposes before he ever goes inside a jail cell. He has to have his protective detail and medical support,...plus there has to be some negotiation on who gets to hold the actual keys and can move him if there is a threat to him of any kind.

I don't think he will get the Epstein guards...

Putting him a cell right now, before all that is in place, would be doing him a solid as far as campaign finances are concerned. It could happen, of course, I just highly doubt it at this point.

The tide of opinion among supporters may turn at some point but it is way past the time I thought it would start drifting to other candidates.

Perhaps he will surrender Wednesday afternoon or announce later on Wednesday that he will surrender on Thursday.

Why? He won't stop the debate on Fox that night but he will drive the media narrative further away from the debate and towards him. I doubt he wants to give whoever does well at the debate any room for too much coverage. He's going to be in the news this week; why not make it work in his favor?

Yes threatening the biased Judge prosecuting Trump is much more serious than the leftie protestors threatening Supreme Court Justices was.

Humor me. Do you consider Schumer’s threat against the Republican appointed SC Justices only a ‘general threat’? And not a ‘specific threat’ that warrants investigation?

The only charge laid was against Nicholas Roske the fellow with weapons at Kavanuagh's house. The censors have now buried all news about him for the past year so we don't know what happened other than the initial charges.

I’ve thought about Trump’s multiple ‘arrests’ and the meaning of the word ‘arrest’. Outside of the legal arena ‘arrest’ tends to mean ‘stop’. Like “his growth was arrested when he stopped eating’.
In that sense Trump has not been ‘arrested’ from anything! He can still golf. Still campaign. Still blather on his Truth Social platform.
Has he at least had to forfeit his passport? Has he had to put up even $1 as bail? Does he officially have to alert any of the courts if he is traveling?
